About the role

Globant is looking for a Senior-Level GCP Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data solutions and ETL pipelines using Python and Google Cloud services. The role involves working with data processing libraries, BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, data modeling, pipeline development, and orchestration while contributing to innovative AI and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Python and modern data processing technologies.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and data processing solutions using Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, Dataproc, and Dataflow.
• Develop data models and implement reliable data orchestration workflows for business requirements.
• Use Python libraries such as Pandas and PySpark for large-scale data processing and manipulation.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to deliver scalable cloud-based data solutions.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in data engineering with strong expertise in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Pandas, PySpark, and designing and maintaining ETL pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud services including BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, Vertex AI, and Dialogflow.
• Experience with data modeling, data pipelines, and workflow orchestration.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based data engineering and scalable data processing solutions.
