About the role

Globant is looking for a GCP DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Google Cloud and Kubernetes technologies to build, deploy, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, VPC, load balancing, Terraform, and CI/CD, with additional exposure to cloud-native technologies, observability, GitOps, service mesh, and SRE practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using GCP, GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, VPC, and load balancers.
• Implement infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and related DevOps tools.
• Manage Kubernetes-based deployments using Helm, Argo CD, Operators, and Istio.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and reliability practices using Prometheus, Alertmanager, and SRE methodologies.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with GCP services including GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, and VPC.
• Strong experience with Terraform, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Helm, and Terraform Cloud.
• Knowledge of Istio Service Mesh, Argo CD, Prometheus, and Alertmanager.
• Understanding of SRE practices and cloud-native application operations.
