About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer III, you will set the technical direction for the engineering team by defining design patterns and frameworks used to build solutions. You will work closely with product managers and architects to deliver high-quality, high-performance applications. The role also involves mentoring engineers, leading architecture and design discussions, reviewing code, and troubleshooting data and system issues.
Responsibilities
- Define the design patterns and frameworks used by the engineering team.
- Build high-quality, high-performance applications.
- Write clean and maintainable code.
- Develop automated tests to support continuous integration.
- Lead system architecture and design reviews.
- Provide actionable feedback through code reviews.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong PHP application development skills.
- Experience with object-oriented design.
- Experience with performance-aware implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Zend Framework in enterprise web applications.
- Experience implementing Redis-based caching.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
